A traditional bed and breakfast, the Wheatsheaf was peaceful on this October morning, as a friendly couple from Sheffield was engaging Susan in conversation in the dining room while we awaited the arrival our hearty hot breakfast. For the evening meal, this room would be packed with visitors and townies crowding in to enjoy the Wheatsheaf's sensational menu.
