| Micropointillism is the technique by which extremely luminescent paintings are produced using only the three primary colors -- yellow, red and blue. Created and developed by Detroit artists Lowell Boileau and Stephen Goodfellow in the late 70's the dramatic innovation had gone largely unnoticed until their 1995 Retrospective at the Detroit Institute of Arts exploded their names on the world stage.
